2026 Hospitalist and Intensivist Continuing Education for DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (3.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (3.00 hours)

Participants will complete a series of journal-based article reviews focused on clinical practices, prevention strategies, rehabilitation methods, and emerging treatments related to stroke care. The activity is designed to strengthen evidence-based practice skills, improve understanding of stroke pathology and patient outcomes, and encourage discussion of advancements in neurological and rehabilitative care.

1. Identify the signs of acute stroke
2. Demonstrate evidence-based stroke assessment guidelines correctly
3. Demonstrate care of patient with identified risk factors
4. Identify appropriate interventions for patients experiencing neurological deterioration.

HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
