Overview
Discussion of management of complex cancer problems with specialists in multiple relevant specialties to formulate a comprehensive management strategy. Another goal is to update participant knowledge base with information from recent meetings and publications. Review of patients and cases to come up with a care plan. There is a lack of time to assess/council patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize significant risk factors related to thoracic cancer.
  2. Utilize the multidisciplinary forum to the prospective review of the clinical, radiographic and pathologic aspects of thoracic cancer cases.
  3. Discuss tumor staging, prognostic factors and national care guidelines in the treatment, planning and follow-up of patients
  4. Discuss new data and treatment advances for the management of patients
