Overview
This is a formal meeting with presentation of clinical cases of one or more patients. It is part of a medical education process focusing on current and/or interesting cases. Audience may include physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and other multi-disciplinary staff that may be involved in the care of neurological patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss various clinical presentations of acute neurologic patients and the evidence based treatment interventions available depending on diagnosis.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of complications that may occur in acutely ill neurological patients and proactive treatment strategies to reduce untoward outcomes.

HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
