Overview
Multidisciplinary discussion of patient cases with deviation of clinical practice or noted trends in patient outcomes. Discussion of mortalities in service line to improve patient outcomes, knowledge base and compliance with standards of care

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify deviations in standards of care for burn patients. Identify trends in ongoing cases related to process, performance or gaps in education.
  2. Improve clinical knowledge and practice utilizing evidenced based guidelines established by the ABA and other accredited sources.
  3. Demonstrate compliance with updated policy and care changes resulting in improved outcomes for patients. Demonstrate competence in communication/teamwork with other Providers involved in patient care.

Accreditation
HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
