This activity is a twice a month multidisciplinary conference that presents multiple cases of hepatobiliary cancers. Discussion involves pathologists, radiologists, medical oncologists, surgeons/oncologists, Radiation oncologists, and other medical bodies that are involved in next steps of care. This tumor board provides the opportunity for all medical personnel to review and discuss the next levels of care that would be needed to treat the patients. This provides an excellent benefit to each patient being presented in a conference that gets input from all physicians.

1. Apply clinical guideline to practice such as the NCCN and AJCC 8th edition in order to compare current treatment recommendations and to ensure their alignment with the latest in clinical guidelines.
2. Elaborate on the latest technology update to practice such as the SRBT in order to improve practice patterns.
3. Develop evidence based multidisciplinary treatment plan to improve outcomes for patients with hepatobiliary cancers.
4. Integrate professional views from different specialists, which may result in additional patient referrals/studies that solidify treatment decisions.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
