Learners will be able to utilize incidence and prevalence and risk and protective factors information identify the problem of domestic violence. Identify high-risk groups and characteristics of victims and perpetrators.

1. Identify the signs and risk factors of domestic violence across diverse patient populations. Apply validated screening tools and trauma-informed approaches to effectively and sensitively assess patients for possible domestic violence. Document findings from suspected or confirmed domestic violence encounters in a clear, objectively and legally sound manner. Develop strategies to overcome common barriers.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
