Overview
Weekly orthopaedic didactic conferences lasting 4 hours all designed to teach orthopaedic surgery to residents, update on new/current best practices in orthopaedics to all in attendance. Conferences consist of one hour of trauma conference every week, in which cases from the week are presented, audience and presenter are questioned on diagnosis, treatment options, and discussion ensues as to best practice and future care of the patient. Monthly M&M conferences including in depth discussion regarding quality improvement measures. Didactic lectures on orthopaedic topics that vary throughout the year. Surgical case conferences, etc.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply lessons learned from the case conferences, didactic lectures
  2. Evaluate, treat, and provide comprehensive care for orthopaedic patients.
  3. Examine a succinct overview of a patient’s condition and/or complications then analyze corresponding literature.

Accreditation
HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
